Blooming or Flowering tea consists of a bundle of dry leaves of white or green tea wrapped around dry flowers. The bundle is made by binding tea leaves and flowers together into a bulb. During steeping of such tea, the bulbs unfold and release spectacular view of the beautiful flowers emerging as a centerpiece.
Direction of use:
Generally brewed in a glass teapot, or other transparent material, so that the flowering effect can be seen.
For brewing use the water of 80 – 90°C. Tea is consumed after the flower unfolds completely (usually 3 – 4 minutes). It can usually be reused another 2 – 4 times by increasing the time of each brewing for 3 minutes. 1 bulb is good for 600 ml water.
